How do I waterproof my tent?
Weather conditions like sunlight and strong rain as well as general abrasion can damage the rain fly on your tent. So it’s important to clean and check your tent regularly to extend its lifespan. If water no longer beads up on the outer surface, it’s time to reapply waterproofing.
We recommend Nikwax Tent & Gear Solar Spray. This waterproofing agent adds UV protection as well and extends the lifespan of the material.
Tools Needed
Nikwax Tent & Gear Solarproof (available at your retailer) , spray bottle with water and towel

Step One
Set up your tent in a dry place.
Spray the outside of the tent with water from your spray bottle – enough to make it damp.
Step Two
Then evenly spray the damp areas with your waterproofing spray.
Information
Note the specific instructions for use for your waterproofing product.
Step Three
Let the waterproofing soak in for about two minutes. Then wipe away any excess with a damp towel.
