Volumes
To meet your personal space requirements, we offer a wide range of backpack and bag sizes (from 5 to 30 liters). If you’re having a hard time deciding how much space you need, or you just want to be flexible for all kinds of situations, there are also practical backpacks with volume expansion.
Sternum strap / hip belt
Sternum straps and hip belts add to the comfort level of a bag and keep them secure. They can be individually adjusted and guarantee an optimal fit. On some models in the VAUDE Packs ’n Bags collection, you can remove both the sternum strap and hip belt.
Organization
Practical organizer systems for writing utensils, keys, a phone or your documents give you a clear overview and easy access to what you need. Nobody likes rummaging around in their bag or backpack to find their phone or keys.
Removable organizer
In some of our VAUDE backpacks you can easily remove the integrated organizer to create more space for other activities.
Rain covers
Important work documents, your wallet or your electronics should always have enough protection. Some of our backpacks and bags are already outfitted with an integrated rain cover, which is stored in a compartment at the bottom so it doesn’t interfere with the look or the bag’s volume. Just open the velcro, pull the rain cover over your backpack or bag and attach it with the elastic strap. Like a good scout, you’ll always be prepared!
Secret Pocket
Some backpacks and shoulder bags also feature a secret zip pocket for valuables where you can safely store your wallet or phone.
Backpack Mode
Some of our bags are equipped with a carrying strap that can be quickly and easily converted into a backpack carrier – in case your arms get too heavy…
Laptop / tablet compartment
VAUDE backpacks and bags offer special storage compartments for notebooks or tablets for models from 13.3″ to 15.6″. Laptop compartments are padded to provide the best possible protection for your computer. In addition, you can quickly access your electronics any time thanks to a separate, water-repellent 3-way zip.
Some products have an integrated padded pocket for tablets up to 10″ in size.
Light Me Up Kit – Lighting system II
LED it be light: The Light Me Up Kit II is an innovative light guide that is made to glow in combination with a conventional powerbank (not included). The version II fits almost all bags and backpacks from VAUDE – regardless of whether they are “LED ready” or not.
The prerequisite is that the backpack or bag has compression straps. This additional, permanent lighting provides good visibility – making it the perfect complement to a StVO-compliant bike light or headlamp. A great all-round lighting tool from VAUDE, which is just as suitable for the commute as for the ski tour or the night hike.
Messenger – Function
A few of our shoulder bags are equipped with a messenger function. So the bags can also be carried crossways and sit wobble-free on the back when cycling, even when fully loaded.
By the way: You can also wear the bag on the other side. Simply thread the strap out of the slotted ring and back in on the other side. Then loosen the Velcro fastener of the buckle on the shoulder strap and turn the buckle around.
